Safety & Blast Schedule
SAFETY
Occupational injuries create a no-win situation for everyone involved. Employees experience pain, suffering and incapacitation while the company suffers from the loss of the injured person’s contributions.
The Heeter Construction Safety Program is designed to assist all personnel in assuring that such an undesirable situation will not develop in this company. It provides information and guidance for the establishment and maintenance of an injury-free work environment.

BLAST SCHEDULE
Heeter Construction operates using the current blast schedule:
Pre-blast warning signals are given three (3) minutes prior to blasting. They consist of three (3) short warning signals of five (5) seconds duration, with five (5) seconds between each signal, audible to a range of one half (1/2) mile from the blast site.
When the blasting activity, which usually last approximately fifteen (15) minutes, is finished an “all clear” signal is given. It consists of one (1) long sound from the air horn twenty seconds in duration.
